I am happy to announce that the Classical Review will be launching two more regional sites this fall: Texas Classical Review and Washington Classical Review.

Texas Classical Review (texasclassicalreview.com) will cover all major classical events in the vast state’s two largest cities, Dallas and Houston, as well as review events of significance in cites across Texas including Austin, San Antonio and other markets.

Washington Classical Review (washingtonclassicalreview.com) will cover all major classical events in Washington D.C. as well as selected events in Baltimore and Virginia. I am especially delighted that my friend and colleague Charles T. Downey will be joining Washington Classical Review (WCR) as Associate Editor. Charles has long been a regular freelance critic for the Washington Post as well as covering the Capital area arts scene on his excellent Ionarts blog. Charles will be a high-profile critic and contributor to Washington Classical Review.

Texas Classical Review and Washington Classical Review will be the sixth and seventh websites in the Classical Review network, joining the existing sites: Boston Classical Review, Chicago Classical Review, New York Classical Review and South Florida Classical Review, as well as the national site, The Classical Review.

Texas Classical Review and Washington Classical Review will both launch in September.
