Monday’s BSO concert cancelled due to Marathon bombing

The Boston Symphony Orchestra has cancelled tonight’s concert at Symphony Hall “due to security reasons” related to today’s bombings at the Boston Marathon. The program was to have featured music of Beethoven with conductor Marcelo Lehninger and pianist Gabriela Montero.

The BSO will contact ticket-holding patrons for information about refunds or a possible rescheduling of this event.
